HV SPRINT TRIATHLON (Sept. 17, 2011)

Candlewood Lake- Danbury, CT.

Last year our event helped raise over $80,000 for great causes from Danbury, CT all the way to Haiti. Good Morning America helped attract great attention to the event and contributed to developing such a great vibe! We learned so much from our 2010 event and have received so much great feedback on how to improve for 2011; so here are some of the changes: There will be no double bike loop and stronger traffic control from the Danbury police, there will be 3 minutes between swim waves, there will be more water on the run portion of the course, there will technical shirts for the first 300 participants, we have more volunteers onboard for registration and event services and there will be prizes given out at the event for category winners. We will also continue to provide goodies such as bagels, fruit, granola, water and of course an optional cold beer at the finish the line!

The top 3 winners of the HV Sprint will receive a cash prize!
The new course map will be released in the summer.

The bike is approx.. 10mile, the run is a 5k and the swim is ¼ mile.
